In 2000 Embutidos Santa Rita started a phase of modernisation which came to an end in 2007 with the opening of the new factory; this opened the way for new projects.
This phase in the company’s life saw the very latest technology installed in our premises, renewing and buying all the machinery necessary to give our customers the greatest quality. And with an eye to the environment we installed solar panels and water regeneration systems in the company.
These new premises are designed with two separate workrooms to avoid the frequent cross-contamination of food, thus providing greater safety to our products.
Santa Rita exhaustively monitors the critical points of production, applying the APPC and implementing various quality regulations, which we are deeply immersed in at the moment. However, we hold true to our tradition by using oak for smoking our meats.
